In order to request production access, Quickbooks has introduced an App assessment that will include questions related to legal, technical, and security aspects of your application and your business. The app assessment should be successfully submitted in order to get access to your production keys.
The questions in the app assessment will be divided into different sections. You will have to click on the different sections in order to view the questions available for that particular section.
Any member of the app team will have access to contribute to the assessment and QuickBooks has encouraged team members to answer these questions based on their specialization. Quickbooks has mentioned that this assessment might take 30-40 minutes to complete and it is also possible to save a partially completed questionnaire and return to it later to Finish and Submit.
To complete the app assessment questionnaire,
Sign in to your developer account.
Select the Dashboard link on the toolbar.
Select and open the app you want to publish.
Go to the App settings section and then select the App assessment questionnaire section.
Select Start questionnaire.
The app assessment is app-specific so you will need to complete this questionnaire for every app that you intend to get production keys.
In most cases, Intuit's assessment process is fast. After successfully submitting the questionnaire and providing all other required information, production keys will be unblocked. If not, you’ll be prompted with a request for additional information and the next steps by Intuit. If you are unable to meet Intuit requirements, access to production keys will be blocked.
If you're an existing user of QuickBooks Online integration and already have access to production data, Intuit will email you a link to the app assessment questionnaire. You will be blocked from accessing your app or other areas of the dashboard until all the required information has been provided.
